I want to try Best Dim Sum, which opened three years ago. I finally tried them out a few days ago. The restaurant is in an older shopping center and the dining room is very dated. However, the Dim Sum and customer service are better than most of the Chinese restaurants. The Dim Sum at Best Dim Sum is not from the factory. All the Dim Sum dishes I tried are made from scratch. I love the Shrimp Chive Dumpling and Golden Shrimp Rice Roll. These two dishes are excellent. The Beancurd Skin Roll is also very good. The Beef Rice Roll has room to improve. The beef inside is mixed with too much flours and the rice roll itself is surprisingly thick (the rice roll is excellent on the Golden Shrimp Rice Roll). But the Dim Sum is still better than most of the Dim Sum restaurants in the Sacramento area. The customer service is great. We have received a passionate service at the Best Dim Sum. At the end, their dining room is due for a remodel or I hope they will at least replace or fix some of the chairs that are already worn-out. The paddings are too soft and can’t support the bodies. I can’t wait to come back to try more items on their menu next time when I come to the area. Thank you for the excellent service.

I am from the Bay Area and miss the Dim sum there. I came in today and ordered a lot of food for a friend and I (take out). I got braised tofu, honey walnut shrimp. preserved egg porridge, chicken feet, shrimp dumpling, siu mai, baked egg custard bun, spareribs with black sauce, and fried sesame balls. Everything was great. Lina the worker there had exceptional customer service. Right after I had placed the online order, she called and let me know there was no egg tarts today. She was very nice and attentive.

I hate that I don’t live close to this restaurant because I’d probably go here all the time! Midtown/Downtown Sacramento would go nuts if they relocated there. Everything was delicious - from the hot & sour soup to the custard buns - and very reasonably priced. I was not feeling it and didn’t even have an appetite before I went here for dinner with my in-laws, but after the first slurp of the soup, I knew that this will not be my first and last meal with them. Thank you so much for the service that you provide to the community. We love small biz, but we love it more when they actually provide quality food!
